Guild Automation is a Winnipeg-based company that supports OEMs to solve complex problems in industrial automation, vehicle systems, controls, electronics, software, and related services.

At Guild, every role matters. Developers, project managers, administrators, designers, business development professionals, finance, operations, and support roles all contribute to our ability as a company to do excellent work.

As a member of our team you will be someone who cares about quality, communicates clearly, takes ownership, and wants their work to impact both the people you work with and the clients you serve in a positive way.

The people working at Guild Automation all have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions, both in the office and for our clients.

This means no one is just a name in a large system. Whether you are supporting a customer project, organizing internal processes, writing documentation, managing schedules, improving communication, handling operations, or contributing technical expertise, your work helps shape how the company runs and how our customers experience Guild.

We value people who are willing to learn, ask thoughtful questions, take initiative, and follow through. You do not need to know everything on day one. You do need to care about doing good work and being the kind of teammate others can rely on.

Working at Guild means being part of a practical, collaborative, problem-solving environment.

Our projects often involve complex systems, tight timelines, changing requirements, and customers who rely on us to bring structure and momentum to their work. That means we need people who can stay organized, communicate early, pay attention to details, and keep the bigger picture in mind.

Some roles are deeply technical. Others are focused on coordination, communication, business operations, customer relationships, documentation, administration, or internal support. What connects all of them is a shared commitment to being useful, dependable, and clear.

Flexible, practical problem solving

We like people who can look at a situation clearly, understand what matters, and help find a path forward. Sometimes that means solving a technical challenge. Sometimes it means improving a process, clarifying communication, helping a customer, organizing information, or making work easier for the rest of the team.

Ownership

We take responsibility for our actions, words, and quality of our work. At Guild, ownership means following through, paying attention to details, communicating when something changes, and caring about the outcome.

Clear communication

Complex work becomes easier when people communicate well. We value people who can explain what they need, ask for help when appropriate, raise concerns early, and keep others informed.

Curiosity

Guild is a learning environment. Our work crosses industries, disciplines, customers, and problem types. The people who thrive here are curious, adaptable, and open to learning new tools, new processes, and new ways of thinking.

Collaboration

No one succeeds alone. We look for people who are respectful, generous with information, and willing to work with others to get the best result.

Reliability

Being reliable is one of the most valuable things a person can bring to a growing team. We appreciate people who do what they say they will do, meet commitments, and help create confidence for teammates and customers.

Authenticity

We want to work with people who are honest about what they know, what they are learning, and how they can contribute. We value self-awareness, humility, and a genuine desire to do good work.

People tend to thrive at Guild when they enjoy solving problems, learning as they go, and contributing to a team where their work has visible impact.

You may be technical, non-technical, customer-facing, operations-focused, highly experienced, or early in your career. What matters most is how you approach your work.

You will likely enjoy working here if you are:

  • Curious and willing to learn

  • Organized and thoughtful

  • Comfortable taking responsibility

  • Clear and respectful in your communication

  • Motivated by useful, real-world work

  • Able to balance independence with collaboration

  • Interested in helping build a growing company

Guild is a good fit for people who are non zero-sum thinkers, seek to elevate everyone, are flexible, can wear multiple hats and enjoy seeing complex problems through.
